16 months

Landen is 16 months old now. He is growing everyday and changing just as quickly. He got his 12th tooth yesterday. Yep, # 12!!! Can you believe that? We go in for his 15 month check up tomorrow. I am not looking forward to the shots! Landen talks and talks and talks...I have no idea where he gets it from! :) Landen has been walking everywhere and getting into everything. He LOVES to laugh and smile. He is so handsome! Landen is such a blessing and brings such joy to my life. I am thankful everyday that God blessed me with such a wonderful little boy!

One year old

Landen is now one-and oh my is he getting big. It is bitter sweet because you know he is suppose to grow up and you get really excited by each mile stone but then you also know he isn't going to be little anymore.
Landen has 8 teeth now. He is walking along the furniture and walking with the assistance of toys and mom and dad of course.
He is such a blessing. Landen is a wonderful sleeper. Last night he slept for 13 hours.
We celebrating his first birthday yesterday 7/25/09 with family and friends. We had close to 50 people in our small house but I think it all went well. Landen got a lot of wonderful things and is very excited about all of them.
Landen also had his first haircut on 7/16/09 (the day after his birthday) He did very well.
Landen is clapping all the time, saying mama, baba, dada, baby, and sometimes I think he says bye & up-up.
We love him very much!

6 months old

My how time is flying...
Landen had his 6 month check up & shots yesterday. It is so hard to watch him when he is getting the immunizations. :( He is still pretty small for his age but the Dr. is not worried at this point. He weights 15lbs 10oz & is 26" long. Hopefully he will start growing soon :)
I am rolling over from my tummy to my back, I talk non stop, I figured out that the screaming noise that I have been hearing is coming from my mouth so I now I scream all the time. (It keeps mom on her toes too)
My first tooth came through on 1/10/09 & my second tooth came through on 1/20/09. I chew on everything including moms & dads fingers when I can get it in my mouth. Mom says I drool a lot, I think it adds to my handsome face. :)
I have tried a lot of foods like: peas, bananas, sweet potatoes, rice cereal, green beans, and I don't like any of it. I am sticking strictly to breastmilk.
I am holding my bottle all on my own now too.
I can sit up on my own most of the time. I love to go for my toes!!!

Landen is 5 months old now and my has he grown and changed! He is such a handsome boy!!! :) Landen rolled over from his tummy to his back for the first time on Thursday December 11th. He was very excited and has been doing it a lot ever since. He has never enjoyed tummy time so I am sure that he will be rolling himself over everytime I put him on his tummy now that he has figured it out.
He also had cereal for the first time on Tuesday December 9th. He seemed to like it although he hasn't quite gotten the concept of swallowing the cereal instead of pushing it out. Pictures coming soon!

3 Months-WOW!!!

Landen is 3 months old now and getting so big so fast. He was wearing 3 month clothing when he was 2 months and is now out growing some of his 3-6 month clothes. He smiles all the time & loves when people talk to him. He is working on rolling over. He has been holding his head up pretty well for about a week now and can’t wait to sit up on his own. He loves to be upright & looking over your shoulder. Such a handsome boy!

Bigger yet

Landen is now 12lbs 7oz and 23 1/4 inches long as of his 2 month appointment. He is growing up so fast right before my eyes. It's amazing how fast babies grow and change. What a blessing!!!

Growing up too fast

Mom says I am growing too fast. I can roll from side to side & get myself off my tummy onto my side. I am also starting to smile all the time, have become more content, and am talking baby talk more & more everyday. It makes mom sad that it is all happening so fast but she is also excited to see what I will do next.
